Jennifer Ahearn, M.S.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have taken and passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination and I am also experienced in EMDR, Level 2 trained. I hold a clinical traumatologist certification, as well as Parts Therapy, a segment of Internal Family Systems approach. Currently I am in private practice and see clients at my office in Melbourne, Florida, and have been practicing since 2020.
There is a natural striving for wholeness and growth within each individual. Counseling is a collaborative process and together we can find your goals and what you would like to see different as a result of us working together. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and understand and use trauma-informed care. Other evidence-based approaches which I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. With the unique presentation of each client, I adapt my treatment approach to their specific needs.
